What is beauty? How do we define beauty? What attributes contribute to that definition? Truth is everyone is beautiful. The world is full of beautiful people and beautiful things. Our brains find it easy to find flaws; in other people, other things and ourselves. It’s easy – to pick out negatives, aspects that don’t conform to the norm or your ‘ideals’. It’s these characteristics though, that make you unique and to be unique is the most wonderful, beautiful thing of all. You might look in the mirror and think ‘ah I hate that about myself’ but to someone else that detail will be their most favoured thing about you. Start to see your differences as something that should be embraced and celebrated. Be kind to yourself and your body, you only get one in this life so become great friends, treat it with the respect and love it deserves.

It’s the 21st century and I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you this but it’s about time we embraced our individuality. As women especially, we need to compliment and support each other more. Stop looking at each other as competition and encourage one and other. Let’s quit the bitching and the judgement and instead find the beauty within yourself and others. Once you start looking at things in a positive light you’ll be amazed at how much better your life will be and how much more happier you will become as a result. You will feel happy, others will be happy and your life will become rich with love.

See the beauty in everything, life has so much of it to offer.
