DO YOU have goals? Aspirations? Dreams? Do you believe in them, do you believe in yourself? If you answer no to any of the above, then all I can say is why the hell not? What’s stopping you from having a little faith in yourself and your ability to achieve? Have you lowered your personal standards because you think it’s more ‘realistic’? I hate the word realistic. What does that even mean! Who says your goals can’t be real, who says you can’t make them happen – friends? family? Any person who tells you that your dreams aren’t realistic or aren’t attainable are not your friend. Because this is your life, you only get one shot and what a waste it would be to not chase those goals with every ounce of your soul. Don’t be defined by limitations, dream big – no dream bigger.

This prompted me. I found myself on six college campuses between ’73 and ’08. Graduated (finally) at age 53! One life circumstance after another prevented my graduation status as a younger person. The BEST move I ever made was to persevere. I was the most joyful graduate!

    1. Wow that’s amazing! Totally inspiring, sometimes life gets in the way a little but like you said it’s all about perseverance and never giving up. I bet you were ecstatic on graduation day, I hope everything has gone well for you since and wish you every happiness in the future!

I agree, don’t let fear control you, listen to your heart, find away to get rid of your doubt and reach for the stars, anything is possible, only you can make it happen today is your day, make it count.
